This was a revelation to visit. You get an up close and personal view of all the animals, reptiles and bird life etc. The wildlife park is easy to wander around. The staff are lovely too. Very highly recommend to visit.

We took my 3 and 5 year old and thought it was fab. Saw a lot of animals and enjoyed an owl talk. Staff were friendly and they have a lovely dog to fuss over in the shop. A lovely way to spend 2-3 hours. Important to remember that this is a sanctuary, not a zoo. Maybe a tad over priced but think of how the money helps them to help the animals.

We spent a really nice afternoon here a couple of days ago. Very well kept park and it is obvious that all of the animals are happy and well cared for. We were greeted by a very sweet little brown chicken at the entrance and were told by the lovely lady in the shop that the chickens that were free roaming around the park were rescued a short while ago had no feathers and not used to human interaction but they certainly seem to be enjoying their new lease of life now! All of the animals have their own characters and quite interactive. Very reasonably priced and all money goes into the upkeep of the park and wages etc! Def worth a visit, would highly recommend x

Great little sanctuary that is hidden away but well worth a visit. My two kids (6 & 4 yrs) loved it, and feeding the animals was great fun, particularly the meerkats. Also the chickens roaming around were a great additional fun feed.

Great day out looking at animals. This is in effect a retirement sanctuary for animals that or no longer wanted. It is a charity that receives no government funding. Opportunity to feed meerkats at 12 plus there are some very eager donkeys, goats and sheep that are ready to lighten you load of the feed you can purchase on entry. Also get the chance to see flying owl and get photos of it. Lots of places to sit and plenty of areas that are covered if it’s a bit showery. Currently no food available so take a picnic. Hot and cold drinks plus snacks available from the shop

We had this place marked out for to visit for a rainy day, and it proved a good shout. There are lots of sheltered spots to observe the animals, and so the gloomy weather did not detract from the experience. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable, animals are well kept and many we happy to approach you if you are calm and quite. This is not a zoo and (as they say on their boards) not a charity, so there are part that are in progress but this did not take way from the visit. Recommend buying a bag or two of the £1 feed food for the 4 legged animals. Also recommend planning you route in and out if you are using your phone for navigation, imm with Vodafone and found no coverage upon arrival. Highlight was hand feeding the deer and interacting with a fire lit and vocal donkey ;-)

Really nice little wildlife centre, went as soon as it opened and would advice the same! Was nice and quiet - somewhat pushchair friendly par the nature walk. Play area at the end was a good way to burn out kids that are still hyper! Got to see animals I haven't seen before too which is always nice 🙂

A lovely sanctuary with lots of animals all either rescued or retired animals so it’s a lovely ethical cause. The lemurs in particular were very sociable and you could get very close to them. Other animal include raccoons, wallabies, zebras, monkeys, and meerkats. There’s also a petting farm which has pigs, ponies, and other friendly animals. Not bad price for the ticket as there’s plenty to see and do. There are a couple of nice walks round the site as well.

Nice couple hours on a cloudy a'noon spent here managed a picnic and had leisurely stroll around it's a sanctuary so all the animals are rescued and well looked after it's £11 each but the money goes back into sanctuary you can also buy feed 4 farm animals which was fun! Lovely to see 2x baby wallaby popping in out mums pouches and a baby deer the owl display was good!

Amazing price. Staff are amazing with lots of information. Animals are so well kept. The animals do interact if you're quiet, there are signs which do say "please be quiet." You can also interact with lots of animals 1:1. We fed meerkat, donkeys, ponies, goats, turkeys, chickens and peacock. There are also signs which do suggest that when interactive with animals they may bite. This is common sense that when feeding any animal it may nip you. We spent the day here
